Santa Spotting in Champaign County: Week of December 9th
This time of year, Santa starts popping up in Champaign County for some magical events and occasions! Each week this holiday season, we’ll be giving you a peek at where to find Santa, whether it be for photo ops, meals, or other festive encounters! Here’s where you can spot Santa in Champaign County this week, December 9th through the 15th!

Where to Find Santa in Champaign County This Week
Meet Santa Clause at the Virginia Theater
December 12th – 5:00pm-7:00pm
The Champaign Center Partnership and the Champaign Park District are excited to again welcome St. Nick to the Virginia Theatre. You and your family can visit with Santa in the theatre’s beautiful Mezzanine Lobby. Santa will take pictures with each visitor (parents, bring your cameras!) and every child will receive a candy cane. Kids (of all ages) are encouraged to have their holiday wish lists ready to share with Santa!
Donuts with Santa at Industrial Donuts
December 14th – 8:30am-10:30am
Santa Claus is coming to Savoy, and he wants to have donuts with YOU! Santa will mingle (and jingle) with customers for photos as he roams.
December 14th – 12:00pm-1:30pm
Enjoy holiday-themed crafts, music, and a visit from Santa. Guests will enjoy pizza, cookies, and a drink while hanging out with Santa. Don’t forget to dress in your favorite holiday jammies! All participants (children and parents/guardians) must register.
Mrs. Claus Music and Story Time
December 14th – 2:00pm-3:00pm
Enjoy milk and cookies and story time as Mrs. Claus reads from her favorite Christmas tales! And...sing along to music time, too! Mrs. Claus will be singing and playing her Christmas Accordion for all to hear. Come early from 10:00am-2:00pm to meet the Snow Queen and drink cocoa from Olaf’s Hot Cocoa Bar!
Holly Jolly Christmas in St. Joe
December 14th – 10:00am-1:00pm
Meet Santa and decorate cookies. Plus, make reindeer food, enjoy caroling, and come early for a pancake breakfast before Santa shows up!
December 14th - 1:00pm-3:00pm at Neil St. Blues, December 14th and December 15th - 7:00pm-8:00pm at Douglas Annex.
The Black Fathers Club and Buy Black Chambana is hosting their first annual Pictures with Santa. Professional pictures will be offered but you can take FREE pictures using your phone. Come and take pictures, meet Santa, and get a gift from Santa.
