Illinois Farm Toy Show & Auction

January 3, 4:00-8:00pm + January 4, 9:00am-3:00pm

The Illinois Farm Toy Show & Auction features farm toy vendors and collectible items with featured items available at a live consignment auction on Saturday, Jan. 4th, at 10:30 am.

Plus, what fun would a room full of toys be if you couldn't play? The Farm Bureau Learning Barn will be available for hands-on agricultural play time. This annual event is hosted by the Champaign County Farm Bureau Young Ag Leaders and Vermilion County Farm Bureau Young Leaders!

80s Prom Night with Mom

January 10, 6:00-9:00pm

Moms, whether you feel Pretty in Pink or want to get Twisted Sister, it’s time to pull out that 80s attire from the back of the closet and show your kids just how much they are the Wind Beneath Your Wings!

Event will include a plated table-service dinner (vegetarian option must be requested at time of registration), fun activities, and goodie bag for all the kids. Photo packages will be available for a fee (cash required).

Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Countywide Celebration

January 17, 3:00-5:00pm

Come together with the entire community and celebrate an instrumental and influential figure in the ongoing fight for equality and civil rights!

The Cities of Champaign and Urbana, the Champaign County Board, Parkland College, Village of Rantoul and the University of Illinois celebrated the legacy of Dr. King at the 19th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Countywide Celebration held at Vineyard Church

Frozen 5K

January 18, 9:00-11:00am

Shake off the winter blues and embrace the winter’s newest run! Don’t (snow)flake out of your fitness routine, test your endurance in this Frozen 5K. You’ll travel through three different parks and beautiful trails.

Participants will receive race swag to display your frosty fortitude. We might be having a mild winter so far in Champaign County, but you know how the weather is in Illinois: things change on a dime!

2020 Champaign County Area Restaurant Week

January 24-February 1

The Champaign County Area Restaurant Week is back for it's fourth year in 2020! This nine-day celebration of local food will leave you craving more when you discover our award-winning food scene.

Whether you crave authentic Italian dishes, Asian-inspired cuisine, or classic American dishes, Restaurant Week will satisfy all your hunger pangs. Be on the lookout for much more information, including menus and features about participating restaurants, in the coming weeks!
