Pie on the Mind for Pi Day (3/14)
March 14th is Pi Day! For our math-minded residents and visitors, this may bring about thoughts of equations, arithmetic, and STEM-related projects and plans.
At VCC? Pi Day brings to mind one thing: delicious, decedent pies! We’ll leave the math to students at Parkland and U of I because today we’ve got local pie on the brain! Here are some of our favorite places to grab a pie in the greater Champaign County area!

Both Pekara locations are a sure-fire way to get a pie fix, plus a great latte or more sweet treats. Whether you opt for sweet or savory, you can't go wrong!
When spending the afternoon in Mahomet, Lucky Moon is always serving delicious ways to cap off a fun day.
The Instagram worthy Hopscotch Bakery + Market is also always a favorite, especially for special occasions.
Pie a la mode is the perfect way to cap off a delicious meal at Yoder’s in Arthur as well.
We’ll admit, we’ve spent lots of time daydreaming about the endless menu at Pies by Inge in Monticello, especially for an out of this world fruit pie like triple berry or apple praline.
A favorite in Urbana, Po’ Boys has deep roots in C-U and an incredible array of pies for every palate.
Lastly, when you’re on the go, a day has never been made sweeter than with a mini pie from the Oh, Honey Pie Food Truck.
