Sola Gratia Farm Plant Sale, Sola Gratia Farm (May 10-19, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

 Just in time for planting, gardening, and Mother’s Day gifting, the Sola Gratia Farm Plant Sale is taking place starting today through May 19th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale features a wide variety of organically grown veggies, herbs, and heirlooms plus locally sourced flowers including hanging baskets, potted, perennials and bedding. Bring cash, checks, or a credit card, and keep Mom in mind when shopping!

2019 Annual Native Plant Sale, Lincoln Square Mall (May 11, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

More than 40 species of native prairie flowering plants and grasses suitable for a variety of soil and light conditions will be for sale at this annual even put on by the Grand Prairie Friends. Native plants are important to help attract pollinators like butterflies, insects, and hummingbirds, which provide more equality to the local ecosystem. They’re also much easier to care for and less expensive. Support native plants with a gift to mom at this yearly event. 

Spring Succulent Wreath Making Workshop, Riggs Brewing Company (May 12, 1 – 2 p.m.)
