Tuesday Trails with Terri

September 24, 2019

I'm excited to kick off a new series—Tuesday Trails with Terri. Every Tuesday I will run at least one mile somewhere in Champaign County to show off the beauty surrounding us in our flat, Midwest landscape. Help me decide where I'll go each week by tuning in and telling me what you'd like to see featured. Here's how I started:

While running around Downtown Champaign, there's so much to see beyond the local bars and restaurants. Here's the highlights that kept me motivated as I ran on this Outside of Ordinary fall day.

Thumbs Up with Roger Ebert at The Virginia Theatre

West Side Park

Emmanuel Memorial Episcopal Church

Skeletons climbing Eden Supportive Living Facility

The Art Theater

Black Dog Smoke & Ale House in the original Champaign train station!

Public art outside the Pour Brothers with the Champaign City Building in the background.

Mural in the Seven Saints beer garden Mr. Eggwards enjoying the view outside the Esquire Lounge!

Mural behind Furniture Lounge

The Clark Bar

I promise to always share my time and distance. I'm pretty slow, and just enjoy what's around me. A good 2.41 miles today with plenty of sights to see!
